Harvest Festival – a great end to this half term!

Our Harvest Festival was a wonderful celebration that helped provide much needed resources for our local food bank. Thank you to everyone that donated.

Dear Parents and Carers

We have all had a fabulous half term here at school with many special events and memorable experiences culminating in today’s Harvest Festival. Thank you to Reverend Graeme and Andy Ball for their contributions—it was lovely for all the children to finally meet Graeme. Thank you also to all the staff who contributed and Mrs Phelps who was our chief-coordinator for the event!

Also, this week the children have participated in a number of outcomes, including Year 5/6’s Greek finale and the Year 3/4’s trip to Lordshill Library for their book launch. Last Friday, Y3/4 and Y5/6 children took part in a Tag Rugby Festival and our Year 5/6 team was nominated by all the other schools as being the ‘Most Determined’ team. Well done to all.

Enjoy the Harvest Festival pictures and see you in the new half term…

Warm wishes,
Tim Woodford, Headteacher
