Christmas has arrived already in Year R!

Christmas is well and truly underway in Year R as we start our topic ‘Christmas Around the World.’ We received a letter from Father Christmas asking if we could find out a bit more about the countries he visits. Santa also left us a present – Buddy the mischievous Elf – who was zip lining across our classrooms!

This year, with the help of our parents and children we are learning about Christmas celebrations in Malta, Macedonia, Italy, Poland, United Kingdom and Finland. Year R designed how they wanted their learning environment to look and have spent the last week making Christmas decorations to put up. We have been so excited to come into school and find out what Buddy has been up to whilst we have been at home.
