Making a splash!

It’s been another great week in school with children making a splash in their capacity lessons, learning about and trying out some Japanese art, exploring magic tricks and writing imaginative descriptions and… mixing paint and colours and welcoming some new visitors in Year R.

I am brave

We have started new projects for the new term, including reading some great books, such as, Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo. We have also been learning about significant figures from the past, such as, Grace Darling in Year 1/2’s new project ‘I am brave’.

World Book Day (belated!)

It’s been a very different term – something we have never experienced before with many challenges but lots of lovely surprises. The children have responded brilliantly and we are thrilled with their learning and outcomes since their return. Now, everyone deserves a well earned rest and time to spend with their loved ones, especially those who we haven’t seen for a long time.
