Be Bright, Be Seen!

With the dark evenings drawing in, it’s really important to make sure we are keeping safe! Thank you to Miss Adams for organising our successful ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’ campaign! This week, we also have been making obstacle courses in Year R, designing and creating forms of transport in Year 1/2, printing like Vivienne Westwood in Year 5/6 – and Year 3/4 had a wonderful trip to Butser Farm! Thank you all of the adults who helped to make our day so much fun!

Da Vinci who?

We have had a truly special first week back to school. It is so wonderful to be able to see the children together again and we have had our first Collective Worship in the hall since before the pandemic began. This week in Year 1 to 6 we have been studying famous artists and creating portraits, and of course, for our smallest children, Thursday was their very first day!

We are so Proud of you all!

Summer is here and what a year it has been – full of ups and downs but we believe we have come through stronger. We have built even stronger relationships with our community despite not being physically together and while, understandably, it is still an anxious time, it is also a time for hope. We can’t wait to get back to what we do best and remember that ‘every storm runs out of rain’. We are so proud to be part of Team Rownhams!
