Our new Year R children have had a really wonderful first full week at school and it has been so lovely to see so many smiling faces. Year 1/2 have been looking for a new home for a penguin in their story ‘Lost and Found’ by Oliver Jeffers and Year 5/6 have been learning to be archaeologists as they look for clues about the Egyptians. Year 3/4 have also been looking for clues but this time as reading detectives as they solve the mysteries hidden in the books of Anthony Browne.
We share our latest news and annoucements here…
Here it is… a special edition blog for the long anticipated end of term finale from our fantastic Year 5 and Year 6 children. Good luck to all of our children leaving Rownhams and moving on to their new schools in the next chapter in their lives. Goodbye – we will miss you!
Summer is here and what a year it has been – full of ups and downs but we believe we have through stronger. We have built even stronger relationships with our community despite not being physically together and while, understandably, it is still an anxious time, it is also a time for hope. We can’t wait to get back to what we do best and remember that ‘every storm runs out of rain’. We are so proud to be part of Team Rownhams!
