The Prince’s Quest

We could not be prouder of the 62 children who performed ‘The Prince’s Quest’ at The Lantern Theatre, Mountbatten School on Saturday. They performed twice in front of over 300 people and were met with smiles, laughs, applause and some proud tears. We love providing this club because although it is extremely hard work, the outcome every year is so worth it. These 7-11 year olds showcase our School Values of Love, Joy & Responsibility and by raising money for charity every year, our vision of Me, My Community & My World is also met. This year we are pleased to confirm that £1500.00 will be donated to UNICEF to support children across the World suffering from War, Poverty and Disaster. Thank you to everybody who took part and supported our Musical Theatre club - and a special thank you to Mrs. Phelps and Mrs. Renyard for all their hard work to make our Musical Theatre club the success that it is!

Hear from one of the cast members...

“On Saturday, the Musical Theatre Club went to Mountbatten School to perform our show in the Lantern Theatre.  As a child performing in this production, I found it an incredible experience to express myself.  If not for Musical Theatre, I would never have discovered my love for acting.  It is amazing to pretend to be someone else and I think that it is the perfect activity for everybody after school on a Tuesday.  I thought that ‘The Prince’s Quest’ was a unique production and loved how Mrs. Renyard wrote it.”
