At the end of every school year Year 2 and Year 6 children are required to sit statutory assessments. Year 1 children are tested on their phonics knowledge and we also assess our Year R children on how well they have achieved in their first year in our school. 

The information gathered is useful for schools to help them see how well children are doing and to help identify where we can improve. This information can also be useful for parents and external agencies but should not be used as a sole measure on how effective we are providing an education. For this we highly recommend arranging a tour and coming to see us in action.
