Festive Fun

At the end of last week, we were treated to a delicious Christmas dinner which was enjoyed by all of our festively dressed children and staff. The hall was filled with Christmas music and the joyful sounds of chatting and laughing. We were joined virtually by Revd Graham for a Christingle Service and each class has had a fun filled Christmas party. Also this week, Year R have been busy making presents to take home for their loved ones, Year 1/2 enjoyed designing and making cards, Year 3/4 have been reflecting on Angels and Year 5/6 have been comparing this half term’s whole class reading texts. We all wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Prickly Hay!

Well done to all of our Key Stage 1 children for a super Nativity play! The whole school was treated to a performance today and we can’t wait to share the video with our parents and carers next week – it’s in video the production stage as I write this! Also, this week Year 5/6 have been writing an unseen scene for the poem The Highwayman, Year 3/4 have been building Roman aqueducts and Year R have been getting ready for Christmas. Only 15 more sleeps!
